Lester Laminack Leads a Powerful Saturday Lineup

As we look ahead to spring, MRA is moving its annual conference online during the weekend of March 12 to 14, 2021. On Saturday morning at 9:00 AM EST, Lester L. Laminack, an award-winning Professor Emeritus at Western Carolina University, kicks off a day of concurrent sessions.

Laminack is now a full-time writer and consultant working with schools throughout the United States. He is an active member of the National Council of Teachers of English, and his academic publications number more than a dozen and include Reading to Make a Difference and the Ultimate Read-Aloud Resource. He also has written seven children’s books, including Three Hens and a Peacock and The King of Bees. Laminack lives in North Carolina.
